The Contact block is a UniLink block that allows you to display your contact information, such as email, phone number, and address, in a clean and organized format on your page.
What is the Contact Block?
The Contact block makes it easy for visitors to find and reach you without having to dig through your website or social profiles. Rather than a form submission, it surfaces your direct contact details, letting people choose their preferred way to get in touch. It is especially useful for local businesses, freelancers, and professionals who want to make themselves accessible to potential clients and customers.
How to Add the Contact Block to Your Page
- Log in to your UniLink Dashboard at unilink.us
- Select the page you want to edit
- Click the Add Block button (+)
- Search for or scroll to find Contact
- Click to add it to your page
How to Configure the Contact Block
The Contact block allows you to add and display multiple types of contact information:
- Email Address — Display a clickable email link so visitors can open their email client and reach you with a single tap.
- Phone Number — Show your phone or WhatsApp number as a tappable link that auto-dials on mobile devices.
- Physical Address — Include your street address for brick-and-mortar businesses or locations. This can be linked to Google Maps for easy navigation.
- Business Hours — Optionally display your working hours so visitors know the best times to reach you.
- Section Heading — Add a title such as "Get in Touch" or "Contact Us" above the contact details to frame the block clearly.
- Icon Display — Enable icons next to each contact item (email envelope, phone, location pin) for a polished, professional look.
Best Practices for the Contact Block
- Use a dedicated business email address rather than a personal one to maintain professionalism.
- If you accept WhatsApp inquiries, format the phone number as a WhatsApp link to let mobile visitors message you instantly.
- Pair the Contact block with a Map block below it so visitors can both see your address and navigate to your location.
- Keep the number of contact options to what you actually monitor. Listing five channels you rarely check creates a poor experience.
- Place the Contact block near the bottom of your page as a clear closing call-to-action for visitors who have reviewed everything else.
