The Slider block is a UniLink block that allows you to display multiple images or content cards in a horizontal carousel that visitors can swipe or click through.
What is the Slider Block?
The Slider block lets you present a series of visuals or messages in a compact, interactive format without stacking them vertically and making your page scroll endlessly. Each slide can contain an image, a title, and a description, making it ideal for showcasing a product collection, portfolio pieces, testimonials, team members, or a sequence of steps. It is a great choice for businesses and creators who have multiple related items to display in a space-efficient way.
How to Add the Slider Block to Your Page
- Log in to your UniLink Dashboard at unilink.us

- Click to add it to your page
How to Configure the Slider Block
The Slider block provides a set of options for controlling both the content and the carousel behavior:
- Slide Image — Upload an image for each slide. Use consistent dimensions across all slides for a polished, uniform appearance.
- Slide Title — Add an optional title to each slide that appears as an overlay or caption beneath the image.
- Slide Description — Include a brief description on each slide to provide context or detail about what is shown.
- Slide Link — Make individual slides clickable by attaching a URL, so visitors can tap a specific slide to learn more or purchase.
- Auto-Play — Enable automatic slide transitions so the carousel advances on its own without requiring user interaction.
- Slide Interval — When auto-play is on, set how many seconds each slide displays before advancing to the next.
Best Practices for the Slider Block
- Upload images that are all the same size and aspect ratio to prevent the slider from shifting or resizing between slides.
- Limit your slider to five to eight slides. Too many slides means most visitors will never see the later ones.
- Make each slide self-contained with enough information to be meaningful on its own, since many visitors will only see one or two slides.
- Use the auto-play feature cautiously. Some visitors find automatic movement distracting, especially on mobile devices.
- If your slides represent products or portfolio items, link each slide to its corresponding detail page to drive conversions.
