How to Use the Team Block on UniLink

The Team Block is a UniLink block that introduces your team members on your page, helping visitors connect with the people behind your brand and building trust through human faces and names.

What is the Team Block?

The Team Block lets you showcase the individuals who make your business or project run. Whether you are a small startup, a creative agency, a nonprofit, or a sports team, adding real people with names, roles, and photos makes your brand feel more approachable and trustworthy. Visitors are far more likely to do business with a team they can see and relate to than with an anonymous brand presence. The Team Block is also useful for linking to individual team members' social profiles or contact pages.

How to Add the Team Block

  1. Log in to your UniLink Dashboard
  2. Open your page editor
  3. Click Add Block (+)
  4. Select Team

Configuration Options

  • Block Title — Add a section heading such as "Meet the Team," "Our Crew," or "The People Behind [Brand]."
  • Team Members — Add as many members as needed, each with their own profile photo, name, and role or title.
  • Member Bio — Optionally include a one or two sentence bio for each person to add personality and context beyond the job title.
  • Social Links — Attach individual social media or LinkedIn profile links to each team member card so visitors can connect with the right person.
  • Layout — Choose between a compact row layout or a larger card grid depending on team size and how much emphasis you want to place on each member.
  • Photo Shape — Select circular, square, or rounded-corner photo crops to match your brand's visual style.

Best Practices

  • Use consistent, professional photos — mismatched image styles (some formal headshots, some casual selfies) create a disjointed impression. A cohesive look signals that you take your brand seriously.
  • Write bios in the third person and focus on what each person contributes to clients or customers, not just their credentials.
  • For smaller teams, include every member — for larger organizations, feature key leadership or the people visitors are most likely to interact with directly.
