- Open TikTok → Profile → Edit profile → paste your URL into the Website field → Save. If the Website field is missing, switch to a Business or Creator account in Settings → Manage Account → Switch to Business Account. To add multiple links, point the bio URL at a link-in-bio page.
The 30-second version
- Open the TikTok app and tap Profile.
- Tap Edit profile.
- Paste your URL into the Website field.
- Tap Save.
Done. Your link now appears as a clickable URL below your bio text on your profile page. If you do not see a Website field, jump to Why the Website field might be missing.

Switch to a Business or Creator account (if needed)
The Website field only appears on Business and Creator accounts. If you are on a personal account, switch first: tap Profile → ☰ → Settings and privacy → Manage Account → Switch to Business Account. Pick a category and confirm. Your followers, content, and username stay exactly the same.
Decide what to link to
You only get one clickable link. Most creators waste this slot on a single URL — their shop, or one YouTube video. The smarter move is to point it at a link-in-bio page that lists all your destinations: shop, latest content, newsletter, courses, contact form. That way one bio link covers everything you ever want to promote.
UniLink builds these pages free with no watermark. Create yours here — it takes about three minutes.
Copy your link-in-bio URL
Once your page is built, copy its URL from the dashboard. It looks like https://unil.ink/yourname. This is what you will paste into TikTok.
Paste it into TikTok
Open the TikTok app. Go to your profile, tap Edit profile, and paste the URL into the Website field. Tap Save.
Test the link
Open your profile from a friend’s phone (or a private browser tab on the desktop site) and tap the link below your bio. It should open your link-in-bio page. If it does not, double-check the URL — TikTok sometimes strips the https://.
Why the Website field might be missing
TikTok hides the Website field on personal accounts. If you do not see it when editing your profile, you are almost certainly on a personal account.
Settings and privacy → Manage Account → Switch to Business Account. Pick the category that best matches what you do (Creator, Personal Brand, etc.). The Website field appears immediately. Your followers and existing videos stay.
On older accounts, TikTok used to require 1,000 followers before unlocking the Website field. That gate has been removed for most regions, but if you still cannot add a link even on a Business account, the follower threshold may apply in your country. The simplest workaround is to put your link-in-bio URL in the bio text itself, where it stays as plain text but is at least scannable.
How to add multiple links to your TikTok bio
TikTok will only ever show one clickable URL on your profile. To effectively share multiple links, you point that single slot at a link-in-bio page — a mobile-first landing page that holds as many destinations as you want.
On UniLink you can add 40+ block types: links, products, video, music, booking, donations, newsletter signup, and more. Update the page anytime — the URL in your TikTok bio never changes.
Best practices for your TikTok bio link
- Keep the URL short and on-brand. Use a username, not a random slug.
unil.ink/annabeatsunil.ink/page-7821. - Lead with your top destination. The first block on your link-in-bio page gets the most clicks. Put your most important link there.
- Reference it in videos. “Link in bio” works, but “tap my profile, link below my name” converts better for new viewers who do not know the convention.
- Use TikTok Pixel. Connect TikTok’s pixel to your link-in-bio page so you can see exactly which TikToks drive sales.
- Update the destination, not the URL. Promoting a product launch? Reorder your link-in-bio page. The bio link itself never needs to change.
- Settings → Edit profile → paste URL into Website → Save. Done.
- If the Website field is missing, switch to a Business or Creator account.
- To share multiple links from one bio slot, use a link-in-bio tool.
- Update the destination page instead of changing the bio URL — saves you editing TikTok every time.
