How to Use the Twitch Block on UniLink

The Twitch block is a UniLink block that allows you to embed your Twitch stream or channel directly on your page so visitors can watch you live or discover your content without leaving.

What is the Twitch Block?

The Twitch block lets you feature your live stream or Twitch channel preview on your UniLink page, giving visitors an immediate way to tune in when you are live and follow your channel for future streams. It is perfect for gamers, live coders, musicians performing live, podcasters who stream, and any creator who builds community through real-time Twitch broadcasts. With this block, your audience can go from seeing your link in a social bio to watching you live in just one click.

How to Add the Twitch Block to Your Page

  1. Log in to your UniLink Dashboard
  2. Select the page to edit
  3. Click Add Block (+)
  4. Find and select Twitch

How to Configure the Twitch Block

  • Twitch Username — Enter your Twitch channel name so the block can pull your live stream or channel preview automatically.
  • Live Player — When you are broadcasting, the block displays a live embedded player so visitors can watch your stream in real time.
  • Offline Banner — Upload an image that displays when you are not live, showing your schedule or a message encouraging visitors to follow your channel.
  • Follow Button — Add a Follow on Twitch button beneath the player to make following your channel effortless for new visitors.
  • Stream Schedule — Display your regular streaming days and times below the player so visitors know when to come back and watch live.
  • Description — Write a short bio of your channel — what you stream, your community vibe, and what makes your channel worth following.

Best Practices

  • Always have an offline banner set up — a blank player when you are not live looks incomplete and misses an opportunity to communicate your schedule or brand.
  • Add your streaming schedule to the block description so visitors who arrive between streams know exactly when to return.
  • Share your UniLink page in your Twitch panels and in every social post announcing a new stream to drive traffic back to your page and grow your follower count across all platforms.
