How to Add Your UniLink to Twitch Channel

Why Add UniLink to Twitch

Twitch lets you add multiple social links to your channel's About panel — they appear as small icons under your stream and in your profile. Instead of cramming in Twitter, Discord, YouTube, merch, and donations separately, you can point one link to a UniLink that gives viewers everything in one place.

Step 1: Copy Your UniLink URL

Open your UniLink dashboard, click Share, and tap Copy link. Your URL will look like https://unil.ink/yourname.

Step 2: Open Twitch Channel Settings

  1. Open twitch.tv and go to your channel.
  2. Click About under your video player.
  3. Click Edit Panels (toggle) — or click Edit about & links in newer layouts.
  4. Scroll to Social Links.

Step 3: Add a Social Link Pointing to UniLink

  1. Click Add Social Link.
  2. In the first field (label) type something like "My links", "All socials", or your brand name.
  3. In the second field paste your UniLink URL.
  4. Click Add.
  5. Drag your UniLink to the top of the list so it's the first icon viewers see.

Twitch will display the link as a clickable icon under your stream. Selecting a custom favicon for your UniLink in Settings makes that icon look much more polished.

Pro Tips

  • Add a panel image. Create a panel under your stream that says "Click here for everything" and link it to your UniLink — much more visible than the social icons row.
  • Mention UniLink in your !socials command. Configure a Nightbot/Streamlabs chat command that returns your UniLink URL when viewers type !socials or !links.
  • Use a custom domain. A branded URL like links.yourname.gg looks far more pro than a default unil.ink URL.
  • Pin your UniLink in chat at the start of each stream so new viewers see it.

Common Issues

  • Icon for UniLink looks generic? Twitch shows the favicon of the linked site. Upload a clean favicon in UniLink Settings → SEO so it stands out.
  • Link not saving? Refresh the page and try again, or use the Twitch desktop site instead of mobile for editing.
  • Can't see Social Links option? You must have a Twitch account with the new About design — most accounts now use it; if not, switch UI in your account settings.
